Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This AUP governs how users may interact with our platform. Users must not use EaseLaw.in for the following:

A. Illegal Activities

  • Creating fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading legal documents
  • Impersonation of individuals or authorities
  • Preparing drafts for illegal, harmful, or criminal acts
  • Filing false complaints, notices, or affidavits

B. Abusive or Harmful Behaviour

  • Uploading abusive, defamatory, hateful, or threatening content
  • Harassing individuals, advocates, or support staff
  • Generating documents intended to intimidate, extort, or defame

C. Security Violations

  • Hacking, exploiting, or damaging the platform
  • Attempting to bypass security systems
  • Using bots or automated scripts to overload servers
  • Uploading malware, viruses, or suspicious code

D. Intellectual Property Misuse

  • Copying or redistributing EaseLaw templates
  • Reverse engineering platform features
  • Scraping data, content, or draft structures

E. Misuse of AI Tools

  • Generating illegal drafts
  • Misrepresenting AI outputs as certified legal advice
  • Creating counterfeit agreements or forged documents

Violations may result in:

  • Temporary or permanent account ban
  • Reporting to authorities (if required)
  • Legal action as applicable
